The International Day of Radiology (IDoR) is an annual event promoting the role of medical imaging in modern healthcare. It is celebrated on November 8 each year and coincides with the anniversary of the discovery of x-rays.
The theme this year was centered on cardiac imaging where the role of imaging specialists is considered a vital in detection, diagnosis and management of heart diseases.
Program was held at Department of Radiodiagnosis in the presence of HOD, Dr. K. Geetha along with Faculties and Technical staffs of the department.
Program began with a cake cutting ceremony and felicitation of staffs of the Department.
A brief discussion about the role of Technologist on Cardiac imaging were discussed highlighting the theme of the year.
